This makes me really sad. I followed his Caringbridge with a deep interest because he had his transplant at U of M, where Lauren goes. I will go to his site and send condolences to his family.

Scott underwent liver transplantation surgery on Jul 4, 2011. Unfortunately his disease had metastasized and he passed away Nov 17th of this year.

Rest in peace, dear Scott.
