Dear vincently22...... I am extending a warm welcome to you. As Patty has been pointing out by perusing the different postings on this site it will become apparent that due to the location of the tumor (tumors) treatment options vary from person to person and favorable responses to those treatments follow that trend. Therefore, I believe in searching out the opinions of several physicians or medical centers specializing in bile duct cancer. As everything leaves a paper trail so you might want to request all records and forward those for 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th opinions. In the meantime hope is what drives us and many times we have seen quite a few positive responses and I am hoping for your Mom to be included in this, also.

CC behaves differently in different people and the medical field really doesn't have a handle on it, in many cases it seems like the approach to treatment is a shot in the dark or let's throw the whole kitchen sink at it.

my mom was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma recently and I'm really worried for her. Can anyone please give me any information about it (wat treatment options worked and how long can someone live for without treatment/treatment)? Her CC is inoperable as we were told My family and I really appreciate your help! I also read about SIRT-Y90 and heard it's very effective, but I would like to know if anybody try it and if it really helped. We're very desperate for any treatment.

Can anyone please give me any information on the SIRT-Y90 treatment?

My dad is running out of options and the cancer has spread from his liver to his stomach. We were informed of this treatment, but not given very much information. We are also in the process of a nasty fight with the insurance company.
