Lainy and Marion
It feels good to be back. Dr. Fung  calls me the Cleveland Clinic poster child.  So many exciting things happening in the cc research world.
Love to you both

Genevieve,
Three liver resections..my record is two! I had my incisional hernias fixed in April which was a relief but they had to open the entire incision back up..I would have preferred a tummy tuck but that was a no go!   Love your uplifting post, thanks for sharing.

Duke, I was on Folfox and went home with the pump. I had a love- hate relationship with it. I hated it at night because I was afraid I would pull it out which never happen and I loved it because I imagined it killing all the cancer.  I'm sure you will be ok with the black bag it comes in but I searched high and low for something fashionable..you probably didn't need to know that. I will be keeping you in my prayers. happy Thanksgicing.
Peace and hugs

Dear Vici,
I'm sorry you results were not what you were hoping for, but hope is the key word.  Chemo is rough and I will be praying for you. I love what your son said, I need to remember that on tough days. I'm so happy to  read you will be meeting a fellow cc survivor. I have met several and the bond is instant and wonderful. Happy Thankagiving.

Hello everyone,
I want to apologize for my absence for a bit but I am back and missing all my cc friends. I think I am caught up on all the posts recently. So many new members which is sad and  wonderful. I had my blood work last week and my CA 19-9 was 28 and all other blood work was good as well. I had the opportunity to meet Scott Hamilton last week and he is an awesome cancer warrior and now he knows bout CC!!!! Happy Thnksgiving to all of you and may God bless you with love, joy, family, friends and yummy food!

I love to read about visits from Teddy! The last couple of months every time I look at a clock it is 3:35, after the first few times it happen I realized it was a sign from my parents. We lived at 335 crest view growing up. I have started taking photos of 3:35 on the radio, car, phone etc.  makes me smile.

Dear NolaPat,
I had three large incisional hernias which I had repaired in April,. I have the ability to be a little more active and pain has decreased but scar tissue remains and sometimes that causes pain for me.

Welcome Janet,
Everyone reacts differently to chemo but there are options to make it easier. I had a lot of nausea and we kept trying new meds till we found the one that worked best for me and that was Emend. I am sorry you had to find us but  glad you will have the support of this amazing group.

Hi Shelley,
I had two liver resections and  I still have fatigued and weak days. I take Ativan for anxiety and it really helps. I don't need it everyday but some days I get anxious.

I had no problem with the pump but I had to go back to clinic to have it disconnected. I am also a side sleeper and once I got situated at night I was fine.
Good luck
