Golden Girl,
Love your new name and he show! Every cancer patient needs an advocate and it sounds like your Mom has a good one.  Hope they are giving her something for her swollen legs, it is so uncomfortable.

Porter,
Please call me if you want to talk. I think  Duke has outlined a great plan. I know when I had new tumors after liver resections we used SBRT successfully, maybe ask about this type of radiation.

Heather,
Thank you for sharing your true emotions, you can always vent with this supportive group. Cholangiocarcinoma is so scary because it takes turns with highs and lows so fast!  Maybe another opinion is in order. Cherish your time together. Sending continued prayers of hope and healing. Hugs, Lisa

Dear Beadlover, I was diagnosed stage IV and have had may treatments including surgery, chemo and SBRT. There are many treatment options available, I would ask about the plan. Hugs to you and your Mom.

It feels good to be back. Dr. Fung  calls me the Cleveland Clinic poster child.  So many exciting things happening in the cc research world.
Love to you both
Happy Turkey Day...gobble..gobble

Genevieve,
Three liver resections..my record is two! I had my incisional hernias fixed in April which was a relief but they had to open the entire incision back up..I would have preferred a tummy tuck but that was a no go!   Love your uplifting post, thanks for sharing.

Duke, I was on Folfox and went home with the pump. I had a love- hate relationship with it. I hated it at night because I was afraid I would pull it out which never happen and I loved it because I imagined it killing all the cancer.  I'm sure you will be ok with the black bag it comes in but I searched high and low for something fashionable..you probably didn't need to know that. I will be keeping you in my prayers. happy Thanksgicing.
Peace and hugs

Dear Vici,
I'm sorry you results were not what you were hoping for, but hope is the key word.  Chemo is rough and I will be praying for you. I love what your son said, I need to remember that on tough days. I'm so happy to  read you will be meeting a fellow cc survivor. I have met several and the bond is instant and wonderful. Happy Thankagiving.

Hello everyone,
I want to apologize for my absence for a bit but I am back and missing all my cc friends. I think I am caught up on all the posts recently. So many new members which is sad and  wonderful. I had my blood work last week and my CA 19-9 was 28 and all other blood work was good as well. I had the opportunity to meet Scott Hamilton last week and he is an awesome cancer warrior and now he knows bout CC!!!! Happy Thnksgiving to all of you and may God bless you with love, joy, family, friends and yummy food!
