I recently discoverd this support group through unfortunate circumstances. A woman I know from high school recently lost her husband to cholangiocarcinoma. We haven't seen each other in years, but I contacted her because I too lost my husband to this awful disease in 2002. Our husbands, though diagnosed almost 10 years apart, both grew up in the same neighborhood and were friends, and graduated together. It seems such a strange coincidence that they would both have to battlel cc.
At the time my husband was diagnosed, this support group did not exist. I am so thankful it does now, and that my friend has this to help her through. She sent me some bracelets, which my 4 kids and I are wearing, and my kids are spreading the word through facebook to buy bracelets, to help build awareness.
Thank you for all you do and for the support you bring those in need.
