Topic: Ah what to do on New Year's day????

A dook will certainly deal with any hangovers and wake you up!!!!!

Remember that this is Dundee, it's winter and it is freezing here today! This mornings traditional New Years day dook into the North Sea. They've been doing this now for 126 years I think!

I keep saying to myself that one year I'll do this but haven't yet! One year I may do though!

Oh Gavin!  Too funny.  Not my cup of tea for sure (as I sit under my heating blanket in my heated house at the moment)!

So here is the Rochester, NY, version of the same thing that happens in February every year.  I haven't watched or listened to the entire video but what I saw show some bagpipers, so maybe that's a tip o' the hat right there.

BRRRRR, that looks seriously cold Randi! And I'm guessing that you won't be taking part in this February's dip then!

You are correct sir, I will decidedly not be participating.  It's too cold for me to even walk from my house to our mailbox!
