Topic: surgery

My father met with Dr. Canady,. He repeated his cat scan. Was told is still candadate for surgery. I am so nervous, hopeful, scared. Dad was one of 23 patients awaiting Dr. Canady's surgery. When Dr. Canady gets established at another facility, dad will be his first patient. I am greatful, scared, and this tells me that my father is probably the worst of all the patients awaiting surgery. Please pray for me and my family. Will keep all posted.

I'm glad your Dad can have surgery - I'll pray that it's successful!  How big is your Dad's tumor?  Is it in or outside of the liver?

THANKS YOU GUYS,
I NEED YOUR SUPPORT MORE THAN EVERY RIGHT NOW! DAD'S TUMOR IS ROUGHLY 15CM OR MORE. DR CANADY DID NOT ACTUALLY TELL HIM HOW LARGE IT WAS ON THE MOST RECENT SCAN. AGAIN, SINCE HE WAS BUMPED UP ON THE SURGERY LIST, I WONDER IN MY HEART IF HIS TUMOR IS THE LARGEST? AT ANY RATE, WE WILL LEAVE IT IN GOD'S HANDS. I CAN ONLY TELL YOU HOW MUCH IT MEANT TO ME TO BE WITH MY FATHER AND MOTHER OVER CHRISTMAS. I HAVE TO SAY IT WAS THE BEST CHRISTMAS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! HOPE YOU ALL HAD A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS AS WELL.

I somehow lost you email address and I wanted to find out how your Dad is coming along with preperation for his operation.  Let me know when you get a chance.  He is on my mind and in my prayers.
