Topic: CyberKnife

Mom's oncologist doesn't recommend us checking into CyberKnife because she has 3 different spots.  They are all very small, but they are spread out.  They are lymph nodes, and they run in a row.  I know that a few people here have had good results from CyberKnife, and I was wondering what you were told the requirements were to have the procedure done?

Amy....I am sure that you will receive several responses.  Also, in the "Search" function you will find some information in re: to cyberknife.  In fact, there also is a video on the procedure.  Dr. Kim Huang at UCSF and Dr. Koons at Stanford also perform this type of radiation.  You might want to contact either and find out more about the criteria for this procedure.
