Topic: Test Results - Teddy

Some great news some as expected:

Full body bone scan = PERFECT
Hip X-Ray           = PERFECT
Colonoscopy         = PERFECT except for some age things like a touch of
                              diverticulitis.

There is one tumor (not 2 as previously told by the Radman). It is near the right kidney and in fact seems to be leaning against the bad ureter that he had stented. The tumor on March 17th was 3CM and is now 4.5 X 4.2CM so it has had some growth and must come out.The Oncologist is ordering one more test, a liver MRI just to make sure the liver is still AOK then we will see him May 28th and set up an appointment for the Surgeon I used. The ONC said, "I am not a surgeon but he may be able to do the surgery by Laprascope."
All in all not bad since we were sure of the tumor and the rest of the news was great. No surprises. We are doing just fine with this as we always take the attitude lets find out the problem and take care of it.
Now Miracle Man will just pull out another Miracle! He is amazing!

Glad you are both doing fine, your attitude is the one we are adopting and hopefully my Dad will prove to be a miracle man too.

Hi Lainy,

Excellent stuff! And your miracle man does it again! Will keep my fingers crossed for you for the 28th and hoping for some more good news from that meeting. And a great attitude you have in seeing what problems there may be if any, then looking to see what can be done to fix it.

My best wishes to you and Teddy,

Gavin

Re: Test Results - Teddy

Thank you too much. We are sitting here very nervous right now (see it happens with us too) as we go to the Surgeon at 230PM to find out what the game plan is. Will post later.
