Topic: campaign for research into rarer cancers

I think that it would be a good idea if somehow we could combine to assert some pressure on the cancer research bodies to spend some more time into looking at the rarer cancers such as cc - I can understand that they have to allocate resources for the greater good (ie the more common cancers) however I believe that this is discriminatory and should be challenged... any ideas?  jules

We are in the process of creating a foundation to support this kind of research.  This was also one of the reasons for setting up this website, to help us get organized and be an advocacy group to work together for solutions.  We'll let you know as we get things up and functioning.  We think everyone should be interested in seeing more research on cholangiocarcinoma we just need to give them some compelling reasons to speed up the process.  Any input you have is always welcome.
