Gavin, I love Canadian Bacon do not like giving that up, I have given up so much, but am glad to see my Quarter Pounder has less than an English Breakfast! Honestly though I really don't like processed food like fake chicken and etc. Interesting post. Soon I will tell you what I am making for the Passover Seder. All 4 Grandchildren will be coming home for it. It is tradition at the Seder to hide a piece of Matzo and the finder gets a cash prize. As old as they are they still want to to do that. So, I came up with a new idea this year.........hide Grandma instead!
Hilarious! Not so easy to hide. Grandma though unless you just take off to Florida or something!
Good thought, Willow but our weather is finally gorgeous. Just what people come to Phoenix for. We are supposed to get rain tomorrow, we sure need it.
Like you Lainy I too love bacon!! Our local butcher who I know very well gets superb bacon, meat and his sausages are lovely as well! Am away to head out to the shops soon and I may just have to pay him a visit today, could do with a bacon buttie as I haven't had one in ages! And quite right that you are not giving that up! As to the English breakfast, there are an astronomical amount of calories and fat in those, but they taste gooood! Haven't had one since on holiday in 2011!
I don't eat much processed food either and fake chicken is a no no! A quarter pounder, hmmmm... not had one of them in yonks either! Trying to lose a few pounds here and all this talk of food...... :-) Ha!
Ah your Passover Seder feasting..... you KNOW that I am looking forward to hearing all about that!!! And what a twist on your finding the matzo and a cash prize, hide grandma.....Love it!!! Hope you will all have a good one!!
