Topic: Just saying Hi

Hi ,
Just found this site today, my 55yr old father has advanced cc doc's have placed a stent in last thursday for relief of bile fluid he came sunday only to tell us they don't give him much time 4/5mths a year if he is lucky. We are told this is rare but i have  found many people with same experience.
I'd like to talk more because i can't find any sites in Australia that cover what i'm going through.

Dear Marja,

So sorry about your Dad, but so happy for you to have found us.

You can be sure of others reading your posts even though, at times, the reply may lag a bit.  In the meantime you might want to read as much as possible on this site as it may answer many of the questions you might have. 

I believe strongly in second, third and fourth opinions as physicians may vary in their respective approaches to this disease.

Don't shy away from asking question  may it be pertaining to this cancer, or in regards to navigating this site. 

More then anything, don't give up hope.
