Topic: methadone

A study just came out that looked at methadone and it has been shown to kill some types of resistant forms of cancer.

I thought this was interesting as Low Dose Naltrexone has been an alternative treatment for cancer for awhile. Naltrexone is used to treat addictions (same as methadone) and of you are on naltrexone, you cant have morphine as it doesnt work to kill pain anymore. But I wonder if these are related and means that those who use the Low Dose Naltrexone protocol are onto something.

Re: methadone

Very interesting Kris.  I wonder if they have tried any lab testing on other types of cancers like cc?  It surely would be nice to know and then maybe a push to get it approved for compassionate use, while awaiting FDA final approvals. Just thinking out loud again.  Great infor site Kris.

Jeff,
I hope you get your pain under control. It must be really hard to deal with. Hopefully the radiation will do the trick! You are a tough guy!! Take care of yourself and keep enjoying those pizzas!  Mary

Re: methadone

Thanks Mary,  I think this radiation is doing the trick, I'm back to sleeping during the night again, with only a little discomfort.  Just two more days of radiation I hope.  Wears you out just driving back an forth every day Ha!  Glad it's only a little ways done the road.

Bless Ya!
