It is funny how this disease can make the least bit of positive news seems like a cure.

Some of you may recall my dismay with the last physician team and hospital where my father was a patient. Not long after, I read an article in the local paper (Charlotte Observer) about a surgeon doing wondrous things for liver cancer. I contacted his office, and they scheduled my father for a tri-phase scan (something no one else had done) and a consultation.  And while surgery is not in the cards, this beautiful man walked in the room on Thursday and announced

That is very uplifting. I hope it gets approved soon, so you wont have to worry for too long. Finding the right doctor is half the battle. Best of luck to your father and please let us know how it goes.
