just letting you all know mum passed away this morning at 645 am australian eastern time on the 29 / 03 / 09 
she is a peace now

Marc I was just thinking about you a few minutes ago.Iknew from your last post that it was close.Im sorry about your mum and I know you have been grieving already for a while.

My heartfelt sympathy on losing your precious Mum. We're all here for you, and you can lean on us if you need to vent in the heartbreaking days ahead. As you said, at least your mum is at peace. I hope you can find some of that peace for yourself.

Dear Marc,
I too am so sorry to hear of your Mum's passing. Atleast she is now at peace and no longer suffering from this horrible disease. I know how hard this is for you, but remember that she will always be with you in your heart & memories. You & your family are in my thoughts & prayers and as Joyce said, know that we are all here for you in the days ahead.

I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. You are right, she is at peace now. This is not to say you will not feel the sting of this. Feel free to stick with us through your grieving, you may feel you want to talk still. I hope that you find that every day is a little bit easier to cope. Be kind to yourself.

I, too, am so sorry for your loss. I am heading down the same path as you, and I cant help but think that there must be some sort of relief that your mum isn't suffering anymore. I pray for strength for you in the upcoming days/weeks/months to come.

I am so very sorry to hear about your Mum's passing, but glad that you know now she is not in any more pain. You will have your memories forever, and the knowledge that you did all that you could do to ease this for her. That will mean a lot as time goes by.

Marc Im glad your hospital experience was ok I think it helps a lot if you feel the nurses are human beings on your side

Marc, I'm so sorry about your Mom. Mothers are so special. She will always be with you in your heart. I'm glad you got to celebrate her life with family and I'm sure there will be more times like that as you remember all the good things. Now the hard part-funeral arrangements, but you will get through it. With love to a wonderful son.

Hi guys well in just over 1.5 hours mums funeral will be on it is a nice day and will be a lovely celebration of her life
