Topic: Chemo brain 1,000,000 vs Kris 1

I had my oral exam in Swedish class today. I was very nervous as I have no memory now. I cant remember what I am talking about in English conversations, Swedish is almost a lost cause. My teacher has been great though. Our assignment was to interview a workplace and give a presentation back. I interviewed my husbands bestfriend (who is a climate change researcher) because he knows the deal and would be patient with me. There were so many new Swedish words that I had to learn! Anyway, I got a B+ on the presentation!!!! Almost an A according to the teacher. Take that chemo brain!

With that presentation, if I can get caught up before the end of next week, I will pass the class with a high B or a low A. I am so proud of myself. I have missed over half the classes and when there, sometimes I am not really there. Plus, language is not my strong suit. Cancer will NOT keep me down.

I am a cancer patient, hear me ROAR!

Cancer is a word, not a sentence.

Kris,  You Rock!

I think you should celebrate and GET THE RED COAT!!!!!!

My Mom lost her one year battle with CC on April 3, 2009.

"A prognosis is simply an audit of how truly precious each day is.  Live each day to the maximum, celebrate what was, and what is - Don't spend your life looking forward to what will or might be." .... words of wisdom from my beloved son on hearing of his grandmother's CC prognosis.

Hi Kris,

Good stuff indeed! I hated doing presentations at university and can't even begin to imagine what it's like doing one in a language you are learning!
