Topic: Dad is now at peace

My wonderful Dad, my hero, my everything passed away peacefully this morning at 2.45am in the arms of my Mom and I. 

Thank you for all your support and prayers.  Dad fought right up to the end but God heard our prayers and took him to a better place, as much as we wanted him to stay, enough was enough.  I'm so thankful he never suffered any pain and his passing was peaceful.

God bless and once again a very big thank you to my cc family.

Devoted Daughter to the most wonderful Dad a girl could ask for.  Sadly lost his battle on 19.02.11, peacefully in the arms of Mom and I.  As requested by Dad "we will keep on smiling".

Dear Andrea and mom

I first contacted you at the start of your journey and hoped and prayed so often for you all that this day would never come.

You have been such a marvellous daughter to your parents and given all of the support that anyone could give.

He didnt suffer pain and passed peacefully, we can only hope that we all have the same care and attention from our families.
You gave such a precious gift that not everyone is able or willing to give so unstintingly.

The pain you all feel is unbearable.
You know in your heart this is the place where we all understand and will be here for you always.

Please God take care of Andrea and her family.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your beloved dad.  I know so well the pain of this moment, what a blessing that you could be with dad right to the end.  You did everything you could for your dad, I am with you and your mom in thought and prayer as you face the days ahead.

Dearest Andie and Mom, I am so very sorry to hear of Dad's passing but so relieved that he passed in Peace with all of you by his side. Dad was a lucky man to have his Angels here on earth walk this journey with him. Than again you know it was not just luck as he was also quite the wonderful gentleman to have gained such devotion and love. My prayers come to you with heartfelt love.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  I am glad he passed peacefully with both of you at his side.  Know that he will always be with you in your heart and memories.  He is now in a better place, no longer suffering or in pain.  These next days will be trying, but know we are all here for you.

I also wish to offer my condolences to you and your family on the passing of your beloved father.  While this is a difficult time, you should feel so proud that he died peacefully in the arms of those he loved dearly.

I'm sorry for your incredible loss Andrea.  As others have said, I am so glad that he went peacefully and painlessly.  He is watching over you, and so proud of you and your Mom... remember he will be by your side always. I will be thinking of you all in the days to  come, and pray you can find comfort in the fact that he is no longer suffering from this awful disease...

Dear Andrea,

I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I am glad to hear that his passing was peaceful and that he suffered no pain, and also that he passed with you and your mum by his side. You did everything possible that you could for your dad and I know that this would have meant so much to him. The upcoming days will be tough, but we will all be here for you.

Dear Andrea

I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing, but it is good to know that he wasn't in pain and that both you and your Mum were with him. 

I hope you take some comfort from the fact that you have always done all you could (and more) to support your Dad through this journey, right to the very end.

I am so so sorry to hear about your Dad passing.  A blessing I am sure that he remained pain free and that you and your Mum were with him at the end, but no easier to bear.  He sounded like a wonderful father, husband and friend. 
My heart goes out to you and your family at this time.  From your posts I know that you will have some beautiful memories to remember him by.  He is now at peace.

In the coming days, I pray, that the memory of your fathers' love for his family will fill you with warmth, surround you with light and propel you forward. I'm so sorry to read this but thankful that your dad went peacefully with you both by his side.  I wish you and your mum strength for the coming days.  You have fought this battle so gracefully and I hope you can draw on the happy memories of your dad to get you through.
