Topic: Alleviatiing chemo effects
After having chemo (Gemcitabine and Carboplatin) -- at times I would feel very fatigued, eyes half-masted, etc. One of the things that's been helpful to me is to take a bath with half a cup of salt or epsom salt, and baking soda. After soaking for 15 to 20 minutes, I may lay down and just sweat for a while -- having had some water to drink. Sometimes I have the bath/sweating ritual twice a day. I usually feel much better like I've help my body detoxify some of the chemicals.
