Topic: "Anti-cancer:A New Way of Live"-Dr. David Servan-Schreiber

Hi, everybody,

Dr.David Servan-Schreiber (1961-2011)passed away Sunday at a hospital near
his family's home in Normandy,France. He was 50.

The French-born doctor,who was the author the book published in 2007 that promoted ,in addition to traditional medicine,healthy eating along with medication,yoga and "a new way of life"could extend the lives of cancer sufferers.
He was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor 20 years ago and was told the cancer had returned in May 2010. His personal and professional journey took him from the verge of death to good health and back again twice before his passing on Sunday. ---From Chicago Tribune 7/28/2011.

His "new way of life" certainly extended his life expectancy of 6 months! He lived 20 years with a brain tumor. Sorry to hear of his passing. Great humanitarian; one of the co-founders of Doctors Without Borders with himself serving in many underprivileged countries.

He totally changed the way we felt about cc entering our lives. Truly a wonderful and giving man to make such a huge difference to so many.
