Topic: Preliminary reading of my 2 year scan

Just got a call from be beloved internist who has been such a great support throughout my illnesses.

She said that the preliminary report says that there are no changes and everything looks as good as it did last time which was pretty darn good.  Call me crazy, and I love that she gives me the preliminary report, but I never believe it totally until I hear it from my oncologists mouth!

I am so blessed.  2 years and counting.

You people on here mean so much to me.  I am sad that not everyone has good news to post, but for those that do and those that don't this site is a connection that is priceless.

Ok, one preliminary report down, next week the oncologist's report.

Randi-CONGRATS!!!! I understand completely how you feel. I had my 6 month scan and have an issue in my lung, and my doctor said "don't panic, don't google it... but we know you will!!" Sooo like you, it has been a long week  and even longer 24 hours till thursday morning when I see lung doctor. 
I will keep all fingers crossed and send up lots of prayers for you!!

Again Randi.....So happy for your awesome news!!!!

Cathy, I too had an issue with my lung that required first a biopsy and then surgery to remove the "nodule." When the biopsy came back it was a benign nectrotizing granuloma.  Try not to worry too much (easy for me to say)... yours too is probably going to be OK.

Congratulations on your great news! Don't feel bad about posting: I know all these posts give me hope that one day I, too, can say something like "18 months out and clear, so far!!" It gives me so much hope when I read all this good news lately.

Cathy:
I am sending prayers your way that you get good news about your scare. It's hard not to over-analyze, especially for cc patients, since we've had to do most of our background work ourselves.

I thank God every day that I found this site! You all give me strength, hope and more information than I can possibly understand.
