Topic: The Olympic Torch

Hi everyone,

The Olympic torch passed through Dundee yesterday as it winds it's way down to London for this years games and I thought I would share a few galleries of pics from yesterday that were in our local paper today.

Scenes from Dundee and the city centre as it makes its way up to Baxter Park -

Scenes from Baxter Park where they had a concert in the evening to welcome the relay torch and they lit some type of Olympic beacon as well.

Baxter Park is about 100 yards or so from my mums house and it was chaos round there yesterday. I practically grew up in that park and spent much of my childhood and teen years in it!!

Hope you like the pics.

Gavin

Re: The Olympic Torch

I remember when the Olympic torch came through Revelstoke on the way to Vancouver for the 2010 winter Olympics - such fun! Are you going to any of the events? Such spirit!
