Topic: Memorial Bike/Hike

Memorial bike/hike for Doug Jensen on Saturday September 15th at 9:00 AM at Mount Revelstoke National Park, Revelstoke B.C.

My family is having a fundraiser for The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in Doug's honour. After the bike/hike my fellow Girl Guide Leaders are hosting a BBQ for all the participants. I bought a few prizes for the event from the online store and bracelets for all. Tamia has put the event on facebook last night and we have 25 signed up already!

Nancy...what a great event. It sounds like tons of fun also.
Nancy, I don't know whether you are aware, but gladly Stacie will mail brochures to you. In fact, we have English, Spanish, and Japanese brochures available.  Of course, it is free of charge. 
Also, Nancy, if you would like to use the Foundation's  signature and badge on your invitations then please, contact Stacie.  Also, we like to blog about events such as yours.

Hi Marion and Lainy,   I looked for brochures on the site but could not find them. How do I contact Stacie?  I don't know much about blogging. Tamia (my daughter) put it as an event on facebook and we have been inviting through that. We are also asking those that can not participate to send a donation in. Do you have facebook? We did it! 50 hikers and 4 bikers raised $5200.00 and we still have donations coming in! The day was beautiful, filled with love and support. The Girl Guides of Revelstoke hosted us to a wonderful BBQ after our hike! My friend made a cake in memory of Doug with the Cholangiocarinoma Foundation tree on it. All participants received a bracelet and we had 3 draw prices. I am still exhausted but it was oh so worth it! Hugs to all. Nancy
