Mom passed away at home on 6/18/12 at 4:10am in my arms. I am crushed, angry, depressed, confused....... I hate this cancer with all my heart for stealing my mom so young. She would be turning 56 on September 18th.
Dear "wonderful" daughter, I am so very sorry to read about your Mom. I know she fought a valiant fight and was proud of you being by her side. I also know the anger you feel, but honestly in time your good Memories of the Mom you so love will take over the bad memories you are feeling now. Mom would want you to be happy as she continues to watch over you!
Those we love must someday pass beyond our present sight…
They leave us and the world we know without their radiant light.
But we know that like a candle their lovely light will shine
To brighten up another place more perfect…more divine.
And in the realm of Heaven where they shine so warm and bright,
Our loved ones live forevermore in God’s eternal light.
I too am so sorry for your loss of your dear mother. 56 is so young. Try to take some comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain or suffering and is at peace. Keep her with you forever in your heart and memories. Know that I am thinking of you and share your sadness and anger.

I am so very sorry indeed to hear of the passing of your dear mother. Please accept my sincere condolences. I lost my dad to this cancer and I can so feel your pain. And like you, I too hate this cancer. My thoughts are with you and your family right now and please know as well that we are all here for you.

So sorry to read of your mom's passing. Your emotions are understood! There will come a time when the pain is not as great but it is a process that takes you up and down like a rollercoaster.
Your mom is with you forever. I lost my dad at 18 and somehow he is with me everyday of my life. I lost my husband to cc nearly 1 year ago (he was 60) and somehow he is helping me through this trying time. Hugs to you. Nancy
I am so sorry for you. Another young person taken by this horrible illness.
There are many of who are angry and confused. My Mom passed back in Feb. I miss her and think of her everywhere I go. I am upset that the illness was all of a sudden there (inside of her). Where did it come from? Six months prior she was healthy. You are a wonderful daughter and must try to take one day at a time. It's not easy, but we all suffer and try to help each other.
Thank you everyone. Her birthday was difficult to handle. I got all of her kids and grand kids together at the spot where we sprinkled her ashes and we released balloons with notes to mom in them. Then we dropped some of her favorite flowers in the water. I miss her so much. I am glad she is not in pain but I have so many questions !!! Wish I had some answers.
