Topic: Teddy's New Year Greeting

As you know Teddy was Sicilian, Catholic,  but he loved being in my Temple and singing in our choir for 15 years. Since Rosh Hoshana, our New Year and High Holy Days begin tonight it brought to mind what his greeting each year would be to our Rabbi. Get ready......"Good Yontiff (Holiday) from the Pontiff!" Every year the Rabbi knew what was coming but it cracked him up anyway.
BTW, Teddy paid a big visit to the house last night and it has been a month since the last one. We had our holiday dinner last night and my best couple friends were here, they just returned from the summer in Minneapolis. SO, I am showing them my new "digs" and turned on the kitchen light and  it blinked and then went black and on and off and black, wacko crazy! I think he was wishing us a Healthy Year and thanking the couple for still being close to me!
