We have established a fund through The Akron Community Foundation to raise research money. 100% of the funds raised will be granted to research. Our goal is to improve treatment options and find a cure. Our first fundraiser is in conjunction with The Akron Marathon. My husband, son and many friends have joined our team to run for our disease. Lisa, first I want to say what a fabulous event you are going to have and then a thank-you as God knows we need the research! Next I want to repeat myself in saying what a beautiful woman you are and what an absolutely gorgeous couple you make!  The Web site is wonderful and I hope you make a wheel barrow full of the green stuff!! Thank you ladies, we are over 11k. We will plan maybe a dinner party in the spring and charge our friends a lot of money to eat at our house...hehehe
Please pray for my husband, son and friends as they run Saturday...no injuries!
We will be serving our runners a pasta dinner Friday night at our house and treat them to a cookout after the race...my husband has had me on a vegetarian diet but I think I will have a big old juicy steak on Saturday, I mean with my iron being low and all!!
