Hi, everyone,

God bless.
Great article!! I always felt being an oncologist took a very special person.
Lots of prayers for our CC family-Cathy
Interesting and yet a bit sad as this practical, experienced Dr reminds us that we tend to paint ourselves a more hopeful scenario than is real. Is t this hope good for us (as opposed to despair or resignment)? Sure, we have to live in the real world and face motrtality when the time is right but how can she say when that is unless its obvious someone is passing?. As for the sale of outrageously expensive drugs with little statistcally proven benefit, i agree, that is a good discussion the Dr should address with the patient.
Hi,
I think by now most of you can pretty much guess what I think about this chronic disease and my future treatment plan if it come down to the hard questions.
God bless.
Yes, I like about you that you are honest, thoughtful, factual and organized. I understand and respect your feelings and opinions and that you are a realist. I, like most, swing between being practical in facing CC and being really really hopeful for those affected to enjoy many quality years. Those that have done so really help fuel this hope. Meanwhile, I encourage everyone with this to live life to the fullest and sometimes that means using distraction. I imagine and hope that your expecting recurrence as part of the chronic nature of this helps ease the shock when if and when it happens. My thoughts are with you Percy.

Hi,
Thanks for your compliment.
But as you may understand there is disappointment and there is also hope and miracles can be happened. And along this twisting and winding road of CCA, there are no turning back but have to deal with it mentally and emotionally.
God bless.
