Re: Cholangiocarcinoma among offset colour proof-printing workers exposed

Thanks Gavin. I often wonder if the exposure to the chemicals in the film processors I worked with have anything to do with this...

You're welcome Kris. Lets hope that some more research and stuff will come now as a result of this sort of news.

Hugs,

Gavin

Re: Cholangiocarcinoma among offset colour proof-printing workers exposed

Just to make note...my husband worked (and so do I) in the printing industry and almost all the ink products that we use list possible liver problems from exposure to the fumes.  I am sure the chemistry used in the film processors (and the tray developers we used to use) are along the same lines.  We have become a world so dependent on chemistry, plastics, technologies, modified foods, additives....all of which can harm the physical body.

Wishing all God's blessings!

I agree completely Karen! Although I was diagnosed 2 years ago, I quit drinking soda and eating fast foods about 6 or 7 years ago. I occasionally have to stop at fast food restaurants, but tried to keep it at salads when possible (riding in a motorcycle club... Sometimes it's easier to stop at BK or McD, etc.)
