Topic: Why carrot juice?

I am most likely being thick, but I cannot find any information on why everyone is taking carrot juice. Checked cancer websites and also googled but still I am in the dark. Can someone please tell me what is it for...general liver health or antioxidant or something else....

Carrot juice thins bile, which helps it flow.

Also, it contains carotenoids (antioxidant and general fighter against cancer).

Doug Kaufmann, host of the tv program "Know the Cause" also recommends fresh carrot juice. He claims it has cancer fighting properties.
