Dear Karen and Family, Every inch the children grow, every accomplishment they win, that BIG smile on Nana's face gets even bigger. She sees all and knows all, all you have to do is let her know by saying thank you. I wish yhou could all see things she is still doing. Perhaps leaving pennies and dimes around, lights going on and off. You have no idea how the kids relish these things, mine have been privy to many. I have the list of what to look for it you would like it. Let the children know these things and they can become official Nana sighters. I found that by enveloping myself in Teddy "winks" it really does bring a lot of comfort.
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain,
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die. By Mary Elizabeth Frye
For everything beautiful that you see
will bring a memory of me.
P.S. Teddy followed your Mom by 6 weeks.....I am sure he was taken in by her beautiful smile as well!
