Topic: RIP mother

My mother just passed away on last sunday  .she was diagnosed on 16/6/2013 so it was very short period but I know it was full of struggle against this beast which took the most valuable person in the family who was providing unconditional love to all people even outsiders who could not stop there tears. I will keep you all in my prayers and I will keep following this club hoping for a cure that will prevent this disease from taking the loved ones.
My belief that my mother will definitely go to heaven is the real thing that keeps me standing

Re: RIP mother

Please accept my sincere condolences on the Passing of your dear Mother. In time the bad memories will fade as all the good memories will take over. Mother's really never leave their children and in time you will always feel her around you.

From a book of blessings called "Benedictus" by John O'Donohue - Irish Poet & Philosopher
When you lose someone you love,
Your life becomes strange,
The ground beneath you becomes fragile,
Your thoughts make your eyes unsure;
Your heart has grown heavy with loss.
And though this loss has wounded others too,
No one knows what has been taken from you
When the silence of absence deepens.
There are days when you wake up happy;
Again inside the fullness of life,
Days when you have your heart back,
You are able to function well
Until in the middle of work or encounter,
Suddenly with no warning,
You are ambushed by grief.
More than you, it knows its way
And will find the right time
To pull and pull the rope of grief
Until that coiled hill of tears
Has reduced to its last drop.
Gradually, you will learn acquaintance
With the invisible form of your departed;
And when the work of grief is done,
The wound of loss will heal
And you will have learned
And be able to enter the hearth
In your soul where your loved one
Has awaited your return
All the time.

Re: RIP mother

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother.  This monster took my mother's life too in 8 weeks on November 29, 2012, and I'm still hurting & crying ever day.

You're in my thoughts & prayers and I can most certainly feel your pain.
Just remember that through this pain, your mother's spirit is still always with you and she's watching over you.

Re: RIP mother

My deepest sympathy goes to you and your family. I also lost my mom to this horrible disease. She passed away two months to the day of her diagnosis. Life has not been the same since and I am still trying to cope with how she could be taken so quickly.

Thoughts and prayers are with you!

Kerri

Re: RIP mother

So very sorry for the loss of your mother. Sending prayers for the painful and difficult time you are enduring. My dad passed away 3 weeks ago from this horrible disease. I understand the grief. May your heart find peace.

Re: RIP mother

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother. I also lost my brother to this terrible disease a week and a half ago. It was quick also. Knowing he is at peace and no longer in pain helps me deal with the pain of losing him. Know that you are not alone in your grief. Hugs and comfort to you and your family.

Mike, you will live on in our hearts and memories forever...

Re: RIP mother

I am really thankful again for everyone and I am really sorry too for your loss. Even after almost two months I still feel like it was yesterday and I still remember every moment since diagnosis till death and how it was hard to go to the hospital because no hope was given right from the beginning even in palliative care.
I am praying for all the fighters of this terrible disease and I wish you will conquer it very soon
