Topic: Has anyone researched SAHA?

SAHA was invented by Columbia Chemistry professor Ronald Breslow and is a synthetic compound which targets tumor cells forcing the juvenile tumor cells to mature into stable cells and stop dividing.
MD Anderson lists some Phase I trials, most seem aimed at leukemia, with one where SAHA is used in conjunction with Gemcitabine targeting 'solid tumors'.

Has anyone researched SAHA or know any more about it?

Re: Has anyone researched SAHA?

I am looking into clinical trials for AZD2171, the new generation of Avastin.

I have a cousin who is a rep for AstraZeneca, the manufacturer of the drug, and I asked her what she could find out.

I will let you know what I find out.
