Dear Discussion Board Members:

Since 2006, the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation has been providing support for patients and caregivers and working to advance research on this disease.  Please donate to our July 2014 Campaign for the C.U.R.E. so that we can continue our mission of Collaboration, Understanding, Research and Education for cholangiocarcinoma.  http://cholangiocarcinoma.org/get-invol … e-landing/

Much work remains to be done in support of the C.U.R.E.  With your gift, the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation can pursue better detection, diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately help find a cure for this disease.

Thank you for your support!

The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) has been advancing collaborative research on this rare and deadly disease.  Help us continue these collaborations by giving to the July 2014 Campaign for the C.U.R.E.  http://cholangiocarcinoma.org/get-invol … e-landing/

COLLABORATION~Understanding~Research~Education

In February 2014, the CCF held its first Stakeholder’s Meeting, attended by 56 physicians and researchers from 27 US and international cancer centers.  http://cholangiocarcinoma.org/2014-chol … g-summary/

One of the nine collaborative working groups formed at the meeting has launched the Cholangiocarcinoma In The Young (CITY) research project.  The purpose of the study is to identify cancer-causing genes in patients under 50 years old who have been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma or in families where multiple members have been affected by this rare disease.  http://cholangiocarcinoma.org/professio … nic-study/

The study will use blood and tissue samples stored in the Mayo Clinic International Hepatobiliary Neoplasia Registry and Biorepository, funded in part by research grants from the Foundation.  http://cholangiocarcinoma.org/professionals/our-grants/

Help researchers collaborating to find the genetic basis for cholangiocarcinoma by joining the July 2014 Campaign for the C.U.R.E.

Dear Discussion Board Members:

On a more personal note, please help extend the reach of our fundraising campaign.  Consider sending an email message or Facebook post to your family and friends.  Share a personal story about what the Foundation means to you.  The Foundation cannot continue its mission without the financial resources that come from supporter donations, large or small.

Don't forget the link to the online donation form:  http://cholangiocarcinoma.org/get-invol … e-landing/

With sincere appreciation,

Andrea

You might consider sending an e-card to family and friends (or those you don't consider friends and are mere acquaintances or others.)  You have the option of various designs.   Take a look:
