Community Champions: Dorian and Jade — Sharing Hope and Healing in The Woodlands
Meet Dorian and Jade, two legacy caregivers and compassionate leaders from The Woodlands, Texas, who are using their faith and experience to lift others in the cholangiocarcinoma community. As ministers, counselors, and mentors, they embody the heart of connection and hope that unites us all.

Tell us a little about yourselves.
We live in The Woodlands, Texas, though we are both originally from small towns—Dorian from Coldspring, Texas, and Jade from Kaplan, Louisiana. Together, we serve as Ministers, Christian Counselors, and Hospice Chaplains, and we also own For The One Christian Counseling. Additionally, Dorian serves as the Safety Director for the Port of Houston.
How have you been involved with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation?
Currently, we serve as mentors for CCF and are members of the Houston CARE Team.
What has been the most meaningful part of your involvement?
So far, our most meaningful impact has been connecting with survivors and with those who have lost a loved one to cholangiocarcinoma.
What message would you like to share with others in the cholangiocarcinoma community?
Our message is one of hope and unity. We believe that recognizing there is light even in the darkest seasons makes all the difference—and knowing you’re not alone brings strength for the journey.
How do you stay motivated and hopeful in this work?
We stay motivated by living our story out loud. As we share our journey, we not only bring healing to others but also find healing for ourselves.
