Health Professionals: Information for You and Your Patients
You are their Trusted Guide; We are Your Partner
Similar to other rare cancers, the cholangiocarcinoma community faces challenges of late and inadequate diagnosis, lack of tumor tissue, lack of clinical expertise, lack of research resources, and limited treatment options. Patients rely on their doctors, nurses, social workers, and other allied health professionals to provide them with information to help them on their journeys. We have some pieces you can print for your patients, videos for them to view, and also invite you to order physical copies if that works best.
We are here to help you and your patients by providing several educational tools, clinical trials, research resources, and support. A Patient Advocate is available to meet virtually with patients and get them connected. Please direct patients to our site to make that appointment.
*Add the CCA 101 Videos’ link to Epic and other patient electronic file systems so they get early education on their diagnosis as soon as possible. Instructions here.
